In June 2005, the Post Polio Foundation (PPF) transferred its funds to Independence Australia (then ParaQuad Victoria), now under the 'Special Purpose Post Polio Account', along with specific conditions for their use. The Guidelines specify that, “The aim of the fund is to finance the development of educational material and to conduct at least one post polio educational event per annum. Should larger sums of money become available (e.g. bequests), it would be desirable to be able to move beyond education to other forms of support for people with post polio once the educational activities have been undertaken each year.”

"Post Polio Syndrome: Shades of Grey" is a series of interviews recorded with eminent Post Polio Specialists during Mary-ann Liethof's Churchill Fellowship Study Tour of North America.
